From Google Business Profile you can measure and analyze the performance of the Google Business Messages feature. You can view the total number of times a message is sent and the average response time per location.

Number of times a message is sent

The number of times a message is sent is the number of times a user clicks on the "chat" button on your Google Business Profile.

You can track the number of times a message is sent from Google Business Profile on your computer. Just follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Google Business Profile account

  2. Click on the Statistics tab in the left-hand menu

  3. Scroll down to the Customer Actions graph

  4. View the number of messages sent by your customers (you can select the period you want, 1 week, 1 month, or 1 quarter).

Average response time by the establishment

The response time is the time between the time the user sends a message and the time you respond to that message.

You can see the average response time per location only on the Google Business Profile mobile app. Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Log in to your Google Business Profile application

  2. Click on the Customers tab and then on the Messages tab

  3. View the response time directly at the top of your screen (you can select the period you want)
