To be able to link your Instagram account to your Facebook page and manage these 2 platforms from Partoo, you must have a professional account on Instagram.
Steps to switch to a professional account:
💻 From the computer:
Log on to Instagram and then click on "More" (three horizontal lines) at the bottom left of the page.
Click on "Settings", scroll down to the bottom and click on the blue button "switch to professional account".
To the question “Which best describes you?” we suggest you select “Business”. ⚠️ If you do not have a business account, you will not be able to manage Instagram posts and messages on Partoo.
Check your business information and then click "Done".
📱 From the smartphone:
Open the Instagram app on your mobile device and access your profile by tapping on your profile icon in the lower right corner of the screen.
Tap the three horizontal lines icon in the upper right corner of the screen to access the "Account Settings".
Once in your account settings, tap the "Settings and privacy" option.
In your account settings, click on "Account Type and tools" and then "Switch to professional account".
Follow the on-screen instructions to choose the type of business account you want to use (for example, business, creator, etc.), then press "Continue" to complete your account upgrade.
