Before starting

The Partoo Store Locator is hosted on a dedicated subdomain (e.g. storelocator.mybrand.com).

⚠️ Choose your URL carefully: once the first DNS record is made, it can no longer be changed. The chosen domain must also belong to you.

Access Store Locator settings

  1. Go to the Settings of your Partoo account.

  2. Click on "Store Locator".

You access the configuration screen. The left menu is organized into two parts:

  • Store Locator > General: the appearance of your Store Locator

  • Business > Header and Business > Sections: the content of your business pages

💡 You can preview your Store Locator anytime by clicking "Preview" at the top right.

Step 1: Configure the appearance

  1. Go to Store Locator > General and click "Appearance" to customize your Store Locator design with your organisation's colors.

  2. Choose the Logo & the Favicon

  • Header logo: upload your logo (recommended format: 140×50 px, JPG/PNG, max 2 MB). You can associate a redirect link (e.g. your main website).

  • Favicon: small icon displayed in the browser tab (recommended format: 50×50 px, ICO, max 2 MB).

3. Choose the Google Fonts font of your choice from the dropdown menu.

4. Customize the 3 colors of your Store Locator:

  • Background color: page background

  • Main color: CTAs, links, breadcrumb

  • Text color: titles and paragraphs

5. Adjust the button rounding via the slider (from 0 to 50 px).

💡 A real-time preview is displayed on the right: typography, buttons, and business map.

6. Click "Confirm" to save.

Step 2: Configure the business page

Configure the content of your business pages from the Business menu, in two parts: the header and the sections.

Configure key information

  1. Go to Business > Key information.

  2. Activate the information to display at the top of each business page:

    • Ratings and number of Google Reviews: displayed in the results list and on business pages. (⚠️ Requires the Review Management module)

    • "Appointment booking" button: adds a booking CTA on your business pages. (This option is only available for Google categories allowing to specify services)

  3. Click "Save".

Add sections

The sections you add are displayed by default on all your business pages. You can add up to 25 sections.

💡 From “Manage display,” rearrange your sections and activate or deactivate them anytime.

  1. Go to Business > Sections.

  2. Click "Add a section" and choose the section type.

  3. For a customizable section, enter the title, complete the content, and choose the section mode (see below).

  4. Click "Confirm" to save the section.

⚠️ For your changes (content or mode of a section) to apply on your online Store Locator, click "Publish".

A) Predefined sections

Their content is automatically synchronized from your business listings on Partoo.

  • Description: Long description of your business listing

  • Google Reviews: the last 10 customer reviews (⚠️ Requires the Review Management module)

  • Services: your prestations from your business listing

  • Photo gallery: the last 10 photos from your business listing. The "main" photo is displayed first, followed by the 9 most recent photos.

  • News: your Google posts created from Partoo

B) Customizable sections

You write the content yourself. Start by entering the section title, then complete the section.

Text and image

The text always appears to the right of the image.

  • Import a image (mandatory): JPG, JPEG or PNG, 16:9 ratio recommended, 200×112 px and 100 KB minimum, 5 MB maximum. You can crop it directly.

  • Add an alternative text (recommended for accessibility and SEO).

  • Write your SEO text (mandatory, maximum 2,500 characters).

F.A.Q

  • Click on "Add" to create a question (maximum 100 questions).

  • Enter the question (maximum 250 characters) and the answer (maximum 2,500 characters).

  • Rearrange your questions by drag and drop.

Carousel

Highlight your products, your offers, your achievements or your team members (maximum 100 items). For each item:

  • Import an image: JPG or PNG, 100 KB to 5 MB, 16:9 ratio recommended.

  • Add an alternative text.

  • Enter a title (mandatory, maximum 30 characters).

  • Add a description (maximum 100 characters). Excess text appears in "See more."

  • Enable "Show a button" to add a button with a redirect link.

💡 Adapt your texts to each Business: in the SEO text, the F.A.Q. answers and the carousel descriptions, type @ to insert a variable (Business name, city…). It is automatically filled with each Business's information.

C) Choose the section mode

For each customizable section, choose what your Businesses can do on their page. This lets you give them control over content specific to each Business.

  1. At the top of the section editor, next to “Mode”, click “Edit.”

  2. Choose the mode:

  • Read: the same content appears on all your Business pages, automatically adapted thanks to variables. Only the administrator can modify it.

  • Select: you define the content. Each Business chooses whether to display the section on its page.

  • Edit: each Business creates its own content from a blank section. Its changes apply only to its page.

⚠️ In Edit mode, as an administrator you can no longer modify the section content. To regain control, change the mode.

3. Click “Confirm.”

Your Business managers can then manage sections in Select or Edit mode directly from their Business sheet.

💡 A section without content is not displayed: if a Business does not fill a section in Edit mode, no empty block appears.

💡 You can combine modes. For example: a first F.A.Q. in Read mode with questions common to all your Businesses, and a second F.A.Q. in Edit mode where each Business adds its own questions.

Step 3: Configure metadata and structured data

Set up structured data (schema.org tags) to optimize your SEO and GEO referencing.

💡This data allows search engines and AI agents (ChatGPT, Perplexity…) to understand and display your pages in local results.

  1. Click on "Metadata and structured data."

  2. Define the structured data for Business pages

  • Select the data type corresponding to your activity (e.g., Automotive Business, Medical Business...).

  • Then select the specific data type (e.g., Auto Dealer, Pharmacy...).

💡 Choose the most precise type possible. The better search engines and AI understand your activity, the higher your Businesses rank in relevant customer searches.

3. Define the titles and meta-descriptions for each page type:

  • Homepage

  • Business page

  • Zone pages

  • Index page

💡 Include in this order: the Business name, its activity and its city using tags.
Aim for 50 to 60 characters for the title, 140 to 155 for the description.

4. Once structured data and metadata are configured, click "Confirm" to save.

Step 4: Publish your Store Locator

Before publishing your store locator, remember to check the rendering using the available preview. To do this, click "Preview" at the top right of the configuration homepage.

  1. To publish your Store locator, click "Publish".

  2. In the window that opens, enter the full name of your subdomain in the "Domain name" field. Example: magasins.votreenseigne.com (Do not include "www" or "https://")

3. Click "Confirm address".

⚠️ Reminder: Changing the URL after publishing strongly impacts existing SEO. Choose a permanent URL.

4. Once the subdomain is registered, add the DNS records provided by Partoo at your domain host, in two steps:

  • Click on the 📋 (clipboard) icon next to each piece of information for the 1st record to copy it, then paste it into the DNS area of your host (e.g., OVH, Cloudflare, GoDaddy...)

  • Then return to Partoo to retrieve the information for the 2nd record in the same way: click the 📋 icon to copy each field, then paste it at your host.

Once the 2nd record is validated, your Store Locator is automatically published 🙌

💡The addition procedure varies depending on your host: consult their documentation or contact their support if needed.

DNS record verification can take up to 48 hours.

Export the URLs of your Store Locator

Once your Store Locator is live, you can retrieve the full list of its URLs at any time by clicking the "Export the URLs of your store locator" button, available on the configuration homepage.
