What is Local Routing?

Companies often have a single WhatsApp number for the entire organisation, but some messages received centrally may be intended for a specific location within the network.

Local routing allows you to automatically redirect WhatsApp conversations to the relevant location in your network that the request is addressed to.

This feature helps direct leads to your locations and increase your chances of converting them.

Benefits of local routing:

  • Reduce response times: requests are instantly redirected to the correct location, reducing response times for your clients.

  • Provide relevant answers: messages are handled directly by your locations, offering clients tailored responses enriched with local knowledge.

  • Convert more clients: quick and personalised responses boost customer satisfaction and increase your conversion rates.

How does Local Routing work?

Customising the customer journey

By default, before redirecting the user, our AI agent will ask whether they would like to speak with your brand or a local business.

If you would like to customise the customer journey by automatically redirecting certain types of requests to either the central team or a local business, please contact your account manager.
