If you do not have a connection with Partoo via API or FTP server, follow the steps below to create a location on the Partoo interface and delete a location.

Below are the steps to create a location on the Partoo interface. If you want to create new businesses on Partoo directly from your Google listings, you can use our import feature.

1 - Create a business

If the “Create a location” button does not appear on the Home page of your Partoo interface, this means that you do not have sufficient permissions to create a location. We recommend that:

  • if you belong to a chain, you contact your administrator within your company.

  • if you are an independent customer, you contact your Partoo account manager.

a) Creating your business on Partoo

You can create a new business from :

  • the 'Home' tab, by clicking on "Add location +" .

  • the 'Locations' tab, click on "+ Location" at the top right of the page.

  • Click on "Create manually"

  • To be able to create a business directly from Partoo, your business must be open to the public and therefore correspond to the option “On site” in response to the question “How do your clients access your services?

    • Then fill in the required information (marked with an *) for your establishment, including:

      • The country

      • The name of your business. It must correspond to the actual name of the establishment as visible on the storefront and must not contain any keywords: do not add the name of the city to the name of the establishment. If the name of the establishment is already used by another establishment on Google, you will need to click on “create a business with this name”.

      • The main category for your establishment. It should best represent your business and correspond to the category in which you want your establishment to appear on Google.

      • The physical address of your establishment. Feel free to position the pin for your establishment correctly by moving it on the map.

      • The phone number of your business

  • Your establishment is now created on Partoo. We recommend that you fill in as much information as possible directly on Partoo (secondary categories, website, opening date, opening hours, short and long description).

  • You can then decide whether or not to proceed with creating the establishment's Google listing.

b) Creating the establishment on Google

  • If you click on “Create only on Partoo,” no Google listing will be created for the establishment. ⚠️ If you leave the page, please note that no Google listing will be created.

  • If you click on “Create my Google listing,” you will need to select:

    • the Google account on which to create your Google listing.

    • the Google location group in which your Google listing will be available. We recommend selecting a Google group that the Partoo teams have access to.

Verify your Google listing

2 - Delete a business

On Partoo, deleting or closing a business are two different actions.

  • Closing means that the business is temporarily or permanently ceasing operations and must appear as temporarily or permanently closed to internet users. You can indicate that a business is closed by going to the edit view of your business:

    • go to the “Advanced Settings” section

    • in the “Manage your business status” section, change the status to “Permanently Closed” or “Temporarily Closed” depending on the situation of your business.

  • Deletion means that the establishment must continue its activity, but no longer be integrated into Partoo. In this situation, you must contact Partoo support, specifying that the establishment's Google listing must remain open, but no longer appear on your Partoo interface.

Special case

  • If you are an independent customer and wish to replace the establishment on your interface with another establishment, we recommend that you contact your Partoo account manager.

  • If you are an independent customer and wish to delete an establishment from your interface, we recommend that you contact your Partoo account manager.
