For the past few weeks, our support teams, regularly in contact with Google to handle technical issues for our clients, have noticed significant changes regarding the update delays on Google Business Profile. This article lists the maximum delays for creating and updating your profile information as observed by our support teams since June. We are closely monitoring the situation and will keep you informed of any developments that may impact the update of your business data.

Why these delays?

The update delays are currently longer than usual for several reasons. The first reason is that Google has reduced the size of its teams. Additionally, the Digital Services Act (DSA), a European regulation aimed at reducing the dissemination of illegal content and establishing more transparency between online platforms and their users, requires Google to conduct more thorough verifications to ensure the quality and accuracy of the published information. The last time we observed similar delays was during the Covid period, highlighting the unusual nature of this situation.

It's not related to Partoo

It is important to note that these delays are not related to Partoo. Whether you go through our interface or directly through Google, the delays remain the same. We understand how frustrating this can be and apologize for any inconvenience it may cause.

Our actions to resolve the situation

Rest assured that we are doing everything possible to improve the situation. We have contacted Google's teams in the United States and France and continue to alert Google representatives about this issue. We will keep you informed of any developments that could impact the update of your business data.

Update delays

Here are the maximum delays observed by our support teams since June:

  1. Creation of a Google Business Profile

    • Delay communicated by Google: Up to 15 days

    • If you notice that the creation of a Google profile takes more than 15 days, please contact the Partoo support team via chat or at support@partoo.fr.

  2. Updating Opening Hours

    • Delay communicated by Google: Up to 30 days

    • If you notice that updating the opening hours on a Google profile takes more than 30 days, please contact the Partoo support team via chat or at support@partoo.fr.

  3. Modifying Contact Information (Address, Phone Number)

    • Delay communicated by Google: Up to 15 days

    • If you notice that updating contact information (Address, Phone Number) on a Google profile takes more than 15 days, please contact the Partoo support team via chat or at support@partoo.fr.

  4. Adding Photos and Videos

    • Delay communicated by Google: 5-10 days

    • If you notice that adding photos and/or videos to a Google profile takes more than 10 days, please contact the Partoo support team via chat or at support@partoo.fr.

  5. Responding to Customer Reviews

    • Delay communicated by Google: 2-5 days

    • If you notice that a response to a review on a Google profile takes more than 5 days to appear, please contact the Partoo support team via chat or at support@partoo.fr.

  6. Updating Services and Products

    • Delay communicated by Google: 10-15 days

    • If you notice that updating services and products on a Google profile takes more than 15 days, please contact the Partoo support team via chat or at support@partoo.fr.

  7. Correcting Incorrect Information

    • Delay communicated by Google: 7-14 days
