The Competitive Intelligence analysis is available in Partoo under Statistics → Competition, across two pages:
Competitor reviews
Competitor review analysis
👉 These two views help you explore your competitors’ performance from both a quantitative and qualitative perspective.
“Competitor reviews” page
1. Filter your analysis
On the statistics page, several filters help you refine your analysis:
Analysis level: global (organisation/group) or local (business)
Analysis period: analyses are carried out quarterly
Competitors: select one or more competitors (all selected by default)
Tags: select a business theme (one tag at a time)
👉 All indicators automatically adapt based on the filters selected.
2. Understand overall market performance
The main indicators allow you to compare your performance with the market:
average rating
average review volume
average response rate
👉 These KPIs are calculated based on the average of all selected competitors.
3. Compare performance in detail
A comparison table helps you understand where you stand against your competitors across several indicators:
Average rating: shows the competitor’s average rating over the selected period. It is calculated by averaging the ratings across all their businesses.
Average number of reviews: the competitor’s average number of reviews per POI over the period. This is calculated by dividing the total number of reviews received by the number of businesses.
Response rate: shows the competitor’s average response rate over the selected period. It is calculated by averaging the response rates across all their businesses.
SEO ranking: shows the competitor’s SEO ranking for a selected keyword.
Share of positive reviews: shows the percentage of reviews with 4 or 5 stars out of all reviews received. It is calculated by dividing the number of 4- and 5-star reviews by the total number of reviews received.
👉 The table highlights:
your performance (in blue)
the market average (in yellow)
each competitor’s performance
Charts also allow you to track how these indicators evolve over time.
Focus: rating distribution
A dedicated tab lets you view the distribution of ratings:
by competitor or across all competitors
as a percentage or in volume
👉 This helps you compare the review structure between different players in the market.
Focus: SEO ranking
A “Position” tab lets you track how your Google ranking evolves for a given keyword. A keyword filter is available when several keywords have been defined in the settings.
Local results are aggregated and compared with the list of competitors you have selected to give you a national view.
👉 You can compare your progress with your competitors’ performance over time.
4. Identify market strengths and weaknesses
The analysis highlights the main trends from customer reviews:
Top 3 strengths: the most positive themes in the market
Top 3 weaknesses: the most negative themes
👉 These insights are based on the selected tags and help you understand market dynamics.
5. Analyse each competitor in detail
A dedicated view lets you explore the strengths and weaknesses of each player:
top 3 strengths by competitor
top 3 weaknesses by competitor
direct access to the detailed semantic analysis
👉 This allows you to quickly compare your position with each competitor.
“Competitor review analysis” page
Each competitor has a qualitative analysis based on:
themes
sub-themes
customer quotes
👉 This helps you understand the customer perception behind the numbers in detail.
A side menu lets you navigate between competitors. If a competitor does not have enough data over the selected period, they will appear disabled.
Sharing results
You can export or share your analyses:
copy or screenshot insights from the statistics page
copy or screenshot qualitative analyses for your internal reports
👉 For now, automatic email or PDF sending is not available.
Conclusion
This analysis allows you to combine:
a quantitative view (e-reputation + SEO KPIs)
a qualitative view (semantic review analysis)
a global and local view of your market
👉 This gives you a complete understanding of your competitive positioning and the actions you can take.
